Unlimited test strips
One component of the mySugr Bundle is unlimited test strips. That’s great news! Now you can check your blood sugar as often as you want. But the details deserve a closer look, right?
How does the mySugr Bundle work exactly, from start to finish?
Great question. Ordering the mySugr Bundle is quick and easy. You’ll get immediate access to mySugr Pro and mySugr Coach, and your starter kit will arrive in 3-5 days.
How many strips do I get?
Your initial starter kit comes with 250 Accu-Chek® Guide test strips (along with a one-time delivery of an Accu-Chek Guide meter, an Accu-Chek FastClix Lancing device, and 102 extra lancets). From there, we keep an eye on how many strips you need and send more as needed – automatically.
How do you know how many strips I need?
Because your Accu-Chek Guide meter is paired with and synchronizing to mySugr, our system can keep an eye on your typical testing frequency and remaining strip supply. Don’t worry, no person at mySugr is looking at your information – that’s creepy. Instead, our backend system constantly runs algorithms to make sure you always have enough test strips.
But, what if…
If something disrupts your normal testing habits, like getting sick, fighting a low or high, or troubleshooting a problem, we’ll notice and adjust how many you need. We’ll send more strips right away if necessary, or send less in the next delivery if you’re not checking as often. We even factor in things like strip errors and how long FedEx takes to deliver.
How often are strips sent?
Your subscription is charged monthly. Regular supply shipments come quarterly and contain our estimation of what you’ll need for the next 90 days. However, if something changes and you need more or less, we’ll notice and automatically adjust. No fuss, no bother, no trouble.
IMPORTANT NOTE: BG values must be imported directly from your meter for the bundle replenishment to work. If you are having any trouble getting your meter connected and syncing to mySugr on your smartphone, please contact our support team for help right away.
Keeping logistics and shipping costs low for everyone is one part, which might sound familiar if you’ve ever used a mail order pharmacy. Additionally, there are algorithms which monitor and calculate your test strip amounts, and these perform best on a quarterly basis. Optimizing all of this is key to affordable pricing and making sure you always have plenty of strips.
Holidays, vacations, and other special circumstances?
What happens if you go on a short vacation and need your supplies delivered early? No problem. A quick message to support is all it takes. We’re able to help with almost any situation and will do everything we can to take good care of you.
Do I have to order refills? Or it is automatic?
It’s totally automatic and super cool. You don’t even have to think about it. You’ll receive your next shipment of strips before you even realize you need them. By synchronizing your blood sugar readings with mySugr on your smartphone, our system can keep an eye on how many test strips you have and how often you check. We’ll always make sure you have plenty of strips and you don’t have to think about any of it.
Just check your blood sugar whenever you want and we’ll handle the rest.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Again, BG values must be imported directly from your meter for the bundle replenishment to work. If you are having any trouble connecting your meter and syncing to mySugr, please contact our support team for help right away.
What if I manually enter my readings? Will those count?
No, unfortunately, they don’t.
To provide unlimited strips, the data and BG readings have to come from your connected meter. The mySugr Bundle replenishment algorithm won’t know when you need more strips if you manually enter values, so please make sure your meter is connected and syncing regularly. Please reach out to our support team if you need any help.
Freedom to focus on what’s important
It’s amazing to free your mind from test strip supply management. The mySugr Bundle changes diabetes management because you can focus on areas that actually need your attention rather than worrying about test strips and supply management.
